Singapore - Advertisement production company BusAds has gained Production Organisation Approval (POA) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to become an official manufacturer and printer for aircraft exterior stickers, which includes exterior advertisements.
BusAds' sales and marketing GM Cheryl Yapp said it was worth taking time to obtain the POA as aircraft exterior wraps are becoming more popular in Asia and other parts of the world for branding and advertising purposes. The approval is recognised by all parties that are involved with Singapore through the Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement or Memorandum of Understanding.
Tiger Airways' chief marketing and commercial officer Rosalynn Tay said the approval now allows advertisers to leverage on the airline's rapid growth to reach out to their customers across the Asia Pacific region. "New media advertising is the latest buzz word for marketers. Tiger Airways has an exciting media solution for marketers who are looking for new frontiers in advertising opportunities. Companies now have the opportunity to brand an entire aircraft with its corporate colours and communicate its commercials to a captive audience on-board flights," she said.
