Hong Kong - McDonald's Hong Kong is trying its hand at advertising on social networking site Facebook to promote its shake shake fries range.
The digital campaign kicked off on McDonald's Hong Kong website inviting fans to shoot and upload videos on the site to show how creative they could shake the fries and get a chance to win a Nokia 5310 handset.
TribalDDB has also developed a Facebook application aimed at creating another channel for consumers to engage in the shaking experience through a mini game that has 15, 000 signed up.
The digital element is supported by a TVC featuring local celebrity Joey Yung.
OMD handled media buying and planning for this campaign.
