A brilliant piece of interactive marketing, Q!

From the very beginning till the end of the show, it was a fantastic journey. Nicely packaged and sold to me in all possible forms of digital engagement - pleasing pieces of subtle music, cute animation, sleekly done up demo videos, good sensible copy, good illustration, design and usability.

Every moment is breathtaking, with upcoming scenes seamlessly integrated with one another. It feels like wind surfing, catching on one wave after another in its near perfect harmonic motion. A search on Google Blogs reveals a result that is pleasantly inclined towards positive feedback by bloggers who have visited the site. Many are convinced that Q9 is the phone of the century after watching Tuzki's interactive presentation of the various functionalities. A well-thought marketing war plan after all.

Motorola has hit a homerun with its latest gadget, and Tuzki is now a bigger star than ever.

NOT: http://www.nets.com.sg/enets/

Despite its perceived technological advances of its online transactions and reasonable publicity, the eNETS website still seems to be living in a prehistoric era.

Web-savvy users are firstly greeted with a pretty senseless flash animation that not only did not convey any valuable message, but also possibly makes a fool out of itself. And then there's this awkward bouncing effect of the screen that is beyond my comprehension.

Weird happenings aside, poor navigation design plagued access to key information such as solutions for consumers and corporate businesses. There's no consistency in the presentation of information as well as visual cues and design elements that I can relate eNETS to. I start to question myself the meaning of life while surfing and figuring out the rest of the website. It must have been left forsaken and forgotten out there by its owner, waiting for the next poor victim to get sucked into its unimaginable realm.
