Australia - CEO of JWT Australia and New Zealand Amy Smith has left to join weight management company Jenny Craig as managing director and CEO of JWT Sydney Noel Magnus will replace her.
During her two year stint, Smith's goal was to revitalise the agency's creative reputation and create a management structure that would sustain the agency in future. Now Smith leaves behind a new senior management team, new creative directors, new training programmes, a new approach to business development and a new approach to management in place.
"After working in the advertising industry for fifteen years, I never thought I would leave. But when Jenny Craig offered me this amazing role, I found the challenge irresistible," she said.
On the new CEO of JWT ANZ, JWT worldwide president Michael Maedel said, "Magnus is an incredibly driven leader with an outstanding pedigree. He has worked with many prestigious agencies in Australia, the UK and the USA and has track record of world-class achievement."
