Shanghai - GroupM China has created a specialist unit called the GroupM Knowledge Centre headed by general manager Sara Si, former general manager of Mindshare Shanghai.
The think tank has been set up to focus on research and issues affecting China's media industry, as well as work with syndicated research suppliers and manage the group's proprietary tools, research and systems.
The Knowledge Centre will also provide consultancy to advise clients on media research related issues.
Based in Shanghai, Si reports directly to Bessie Lee, CEO for GroupM China.
Lee said: "Her proven record of strong leadership, business sense and extensive industry connections will be the bedrock for this new specialist unit."
Prior to Si's role as GM for MindShare Shanghai, she worked in senior roles for Maxus, GroupM Trading and JWT.
