Singapore - Ogilvy Public Relations has been tasked with assisting the Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports (MCYS) on Singapore's bid to host the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in 2010 after winning the account in a closed door pitch.
Over January and February this year, the agency will help MCYS with its domestic and international media and promotional efforts while adhering to strict rules on a candidate city's promotional activities set by the International Olympic Council.
In an earlier round of assessment, Singapore and Moscow were named as the top two candidate cities for the Youth Olympic Games hosting rights. The other bidding cities are Turin, Athens and Bangkok.
