Singapore - Clear Channel Singapore has hired Amanda Woo to fill the marketing manager role left vacant when Teng Cheng Boon left the company after two and a half years of service.
Woo will join the company on 2 January 2008 and is in charge of all communications including advertising, promotions, PR, events and sponsorships. At Clear Channel, the marketing team is led by marketing director Kelly Khoo and is supported by two marketing managers. Low Sing Yee is the other marketing manager and is in charge of all research and planning activities as well as leading its Insights programme.
"Clear Channel is entering an exciting period of growth and Amanda could not have joined us at a more appropriate time. We are launching a few important initiatives in the coming year - this includes an insight-driven, audience-based approach that will allow our advertisers to target consumers more effectively. Call it ‘Clear Channel 2.0' if you will," Khoo said.
Prior to joining Clear Channel, Woo was project manager at The Launch Group where she managed events for clients such as SingTel and SPH Magazines. As reported by Marketing, Woo's predecessor at Clear Channel, Teng left the company in late November.
