AETN broadens sales outlook

Asia Pacific - AETN International has appointed Mark Taylor, former principal of Main Door Consultancy, as VP of International ad sales, to develop international ad sales strategies for AETN channel brands.

His responsibility include driving local ad sales in Asia, Europe and Latin America as well as developing sponsorship opportunities for the company's international digital media assets from websites, WAP portals to VOD services.

Taylor reports directly to Sean Cohan, senior VP, International for AETN.

Prior to his position as principal of Main Door Consultancy, Taylor was VP, director of sales for Hallmark Channel in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before that, he was commercial director with WWAV Rapp Collins Media and served as sales director, EMEA for The Weather Channel as well as sales director for L!ve TV.

AETN channel brands include The History Channel, A&E, The Biography Channel, Crime & Investigation Network and The History Channel HD.
