Singapore - The 7th Annual YoungGuns Advertising Awards 2007 saw Singapore as the biggest overall Asian winner with a total of five Bullets awarded, followed closely by Japan.
Only four Asian countries won at the Awards but Singapore outperformed Japan, India and Thailand. Ogilvy Singapore won a Bronze for the FHM campaign 'Bikini, Lingerie, Kinky' for Art Direction, as well as under the consumer magazine campaigns category. Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore won a Bronze for Thai SPCA's 'Couch, Walkies, Sticks' also under the same category.
The fourth Bullet was taken by BBH Asia Pacific in Singapore which won a Bronze for Unilever's ‘Axe Vice Virtual Stalker'. Lastly, Publicis/Fallon achieved a Bronze for ‘Nike Stadium' under the content and engagement category.
Singapore, Japan and Thailand made it to the top 20 of the Young Creatives Ranking with Dentsu's Takeshi Tsunoda in 8th place and Ogilvy Singapore's Adrian Chan in 18th. YGAward 2007 Agency of the Year Award had Dentsu winning 3rd position and Leo Burnett Bangkok winning 4th. Ogilvy Singapore was in 14th place.
Under the YGAward & Kinetic Singapore 2007 Creative Brief category, the winners of the globalcurrent.org creative brief were Kiran Bhanushali and Sandip Vane from Mudra Communications, India.
