Singapore - Kim Walker, M&C Saatchi CEO & president for Asia, will stand down from his role, with former Young & Rubicam CEO Chris Jaques expected to replace him.
Walker, appointed president and CEO in April 2005, will not see out his three-year contract and he is expected to leave the agency soon.
His immediate plans are yet to materialise, but he told Marketing he has many options to follow.
"I am a serial entrepreneur," he said.
"I'm still putting my plans together, whether it will be doing it myself again, or starting another corporate challenge."
Walker said he was "extremely proud" of the work the agency had achieved in his time, particularly in developing markets like India.
Tom Dery, executive chairman Asia Pacific at M&C Saatchi, was not available for comment, but it is understood the agency will make a formal announcement later today.
