Singapore - JWT Singapore emerged from last weekend's Australasian Writers and Art Directors Association (AWARD) event as the only Asian agency to take home Gold in the Direct Marketing category for its ‘Teenager' work done for Crisisline.
The agency's regional ECD, Tay Guan Hin, who was judging at the award show's craft category, said CD Ali Shabaz had done a "fantastic job" in lifting the profile of JWT Singapore - the annual event celebrates the most outstanding creative work in APAC region.
At this year's AWARDs, there were over 219 winners announced with 70 coming from Asia while JWT's Gold was only one of seven more handed out on the night. Saatchi & Saatchi won AWARD Network of The Year for the second year running and the AWARD Agency of The Year went to Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand.
