Singapore - Viscion Media Group has adopted software company Woodwing's publishing software Smart Connection Enterprise (SCE), which allows publishers to use all available forms of media to tell their story.

According to Erik Schut, president of Woodwing Software, the company calls this concept ‘blended media'. SCE puts special emphasis on media convergence and publishers can use print, web, audio and video to publish their stories. The software also improves efficiency and promotes supervision.

Viscion is the first publisher in Singapore to use the software. Major publishers like Time and Conde Nast are also users of SCE.

SCE has enabled Viscion's expanding team to work from anywhere in the world with an internet connection, accommodating the company's growth and development.

"This is the office of the future today where teams can work effectively offsite and more efficiently. Our huge investment in this software platform confirms our commitment to becoming one of the leading publishers in the world," Holman Chin, general manager of Viscion Media said.
