Hong Kong - OOH outfit Asiaray has landed the rights to operate the Admiralty Centre Billboards and Hung Hom station carpark and is expected to increase media rates between 10 to 20%.

Jo Yiu, deputy general manager for Asiaray Advertising Media, said: "The existing price for the billboards is devalued. We are just doing the right thing to raise the price to reflect the actual media value."

Asiaray will take managemetn of the sites from 1 January 2008.

In addition to the billboards in Admiralty and Hung Hom, MTR has also shifted the media operating rights of 11 shopping malls and the Worldwide Home LED from JCDecaux Pearl & Dean to AsiaRay.

The basket of win came shortly after AsiaRay nabbed the rights from TDI to operate the KCR railways, which have now merged with MTR corporation.

The company also won advertising rights to the Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3 in late October this year, which the media vendor is optimistic of its wide network coverage when the Olympics roll out in August 2008.
