Hong Kong - As part of Synovate's strategy to strengthen its presence in South China, the company has relocated Keith Kong, associate director based in Beijing to Hong Kong to grow the research business in South China and the Pearl River Delta region.
Kong's responsibility will include increasing awareness of Synovate's products and he will report to Kitty Woo, director of Synovate for China.
"His transfer is part of our ongoing strategy to expand our operations in South China and the Pearl River Delta,"Woo said in a statement.
Kong has six years of experience working in Beijing responsible for key clients from local companies to MNCs in the automotive, confectionery and technology sectors.
Synovate has also extended Brent Stewart's current role as CEO for Australia and New Zealand to CEO for global business planning and he will continue to be based in Perth.
Reporting to global CEO Adrian Chedore, Stewart's added responsibilities include developing and executing a business plan to harness the intellectual property and intelligent data delivery systems within the company.
Stewart will also be charged as executive sponsor of Synovate Loyalty to offer automated research solutions with more data visualisation.
He explained that major corporations are increasingly demanding research that are in quick and easy to understand formats as part of business intelligence and Synovate has developed dashboards and interactive portals to meet their clients' needs.
