Golin Harris lands Delta account

Shanghai - Delta Air Lines has appointed GolinHarris to manage its media communications and events for the airlines' inaugural flight from Atlanta to Shanghai scheduled for early next year.

Lydia Lee, director of the GolinHarris Shanghai, will lead the account, which the agency won after three rounds of formal presentations against three PR firms.

"Apart from their exceptional credentials in the airline, travel and leisure space, we clearly resonated very well with the team", Burt Pinoli, GM of Greater China, Korea, Southeast Asia and Pacific for Delta Air Lines said in a statement.

Lee added that Delta Airline's new business venture in China to launch the Atlanta to Shanghai route will serve to provide a gateway for business travellers between the two booming cities.
