Singapore - Starhub has launched a consumer campaign to market its online storage vault through Vocanic's Ripplevox - an online-community for youths.
"Online Storage is a unique proposition that combines ease of use with the very fast download times possible because the data stays within the "StarHub cloud". The best possible way to allow people to understand the benefits this provides is to let them try it - or hear about it from a trusted friend, hence we chose Ripplevox as the main media to bring this product to market," Starhub's VP of Marketing Iris Wee said.
Vocanic's CEO Ian Mckee added, "Ripplevox also has a master account from which we can quickly and easily distribute large files to all our members - we can now offer brands a unique opportunity to quickly and easily seed Ripplevox's opinion leading youth influencers with pieces of valuable digital content."
Members are given free online Storage which enables them "quickly, securely and easily share large digital files such as videos, graphics or music that they have created. "
This campaign targets consumers unlike fee-based Starhub's Online Storage for Business which launched in February.
