Sheares to leave free booze gig behind

Singapore - Pernod Ricard Singapore brand manager for its whiskey portfolio, Brendan Sheares leaves the company today to join an IT research firm in early December in a sales and marketing role.

Sheares was at Pernod Ricard Singapore for almost two years, managing brands such as Chivas Regal and The Glenlivet. No replacement has been found yet with brand managing duties currently being spread out across the team in the interim.

Commenting on his departure, Sheares said it was time for a change and admitted that he would miss certain aspects of the night life scene and that having to now pay for his drinks would be interesting.
