PCCW strikes search deal with Yahoo!

Hong Kong - PCCW Mobile has struck a deal with OneSearch, Yahoo!'s mobile search product, to provide online search across PCCW's mobile Hong Kong portal.

The agreement with PCCW mobile is part of a broad series of partnerships Yahoo! announced today at the Mobile Asia Congress in Macau to extend global reach for oneSearch and improve the consumer search experience on mobile devices.

Richard Midgett, PCCW Wireless Business MD, said OneSearch deal would allow PCCW to make mobile search more user friendly.

"Through the launch of Yahoo! oneSearch, PCCW mobile will make it easier for customers to get relevant search results on their handsets," he said.
