Red Bull sponsors MTV China's first unplugged concert

China - Energy drink Red Bull has come on board to sponsor MTV Networks China's first production of its unplugged concerts to kick off next month in Beijing and Shanghai featuring Chinese singer Pu Shu and Chinese duo Yu Quan.

"MTV's Unplugged is considered by fans to be some of the best live concerts. It is our pleasure to associate with MTV to launch a series of MTV-Red Bull Unplugged concerts in China,"Wang Rui, general manager for China Red Bull Vitamin Drink said in a statement.

"By partnering with MTV, we believe that these concerts will be a huge success".

The events to be held at Star Live in Beijing featuring Pu Shu and at Absolute House in Shanghai featuring Yu Quan will be broadcast on MTV China's 24-hour channel that will be available to one billion viewers in the country.
