Hong Kong - Just weeks after launching its mobile TV platform FoneTV, SmarTone-Vodafone has signed up The Economist as its first advertiser.
Late last month SmarTone-Vodafone launched 12 channels on its new FoneTV platform which ranging from news, music, movies, cartoons and traffic cams.
As part of the marketing arrangements, SmarTone-Vodafone customers who subscribe to the news channels of FoneTV will receive a free one-month subscription, paid for by The Economist.
The 15-second copy-led TVC of The Economist, was created by OgilvyOne Hong Kong.
