Nokia looks for mobile ad revenue
Asia Pacific - Nokia Ad Business has appointed Pixel Media to sell its mobile ad solutions to marketers in key Asian markets such as Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Malaysia.
Under the partnership, advertisers will be able to launch mobile marketing campaigns leveraging on Nokia Ad Business's mobile ad inventory comprising of global media properties.
Nokia's mobile ad solutions would enable marketers to target their desired audience by country, demographics and content as well as via mobile internet and on specific handset models that would lead to higher return on investment.
"Coupled with its recent acquisition of mobile ad company Enpocket, we are confident that advertisers in Asia will find this a very strong and compelling advertising proposition," Kevin Huang, CEO for Pixel Media said.
According to Strategy Analytics for May 2007, there are over 800 million mobile users in Asia, with over 520 million of them in China alone.
