Venetian mag to target high rollers

Hong Kong - The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel has appointed 6cm Media to launch and manage the advertising sales for its custom magazine Venetian Style Macao, with the first issue due out early December.

6cm, the sister publication to 3cm Media which publishes Prestige Hong Kong, won the contract to publish the quarterly title in June.

Initially, 50,000 copies of the magazine will be distributed but that is expected to grow to around 200,000. The custom magazine will also be placed in all 3,000suites at The Venetian Macao, Sands Macao and aboard Las Vegas Sands Corp ferries, limousines and jets.

The magazine will be bilingual with articles in simplified Chinese and English.

6cm is run operated by publisher Brian Chow (pictured) and partners Gordon Lam and Anne Lim-Chaplain.

"It's very much the signature publication for The Venetian Macao, and is based on its successful magazine in Las Vegas," Lim-Chaplain said.

"Its readers are most certainly top-end - the type of influential and powerful clientele that The Venetian Macao attracts."
