Hong Kong - Neo@Ogilvy has signed a deal with MyClick to integrate its mobile measurement and tacking tools to its customer base.
The MyClick patented technology allows mobile users to take a picture of a product to and upload additional information to a mobile phone. MyClick sends back information about the product instantly.
The information can be stored and viewed at a later date.
Richard Wang, executive deputy GM at Neo@Ogilvy, said the technology has the potential to revolutionise the advertising industry.
"This enterprise represents a leap forward in an ad agency's ability to manage a client's advertising budget," he said.
"MyClick affords us the power to reach customers on a new scale and with new influence."
Earlier this year Lipton tea launched a promotion for its Yellow label tea in Hong Kong using the MyClick mobile and online technology. The "Get Inspired, Get Hirameki" campaign by DDB allowed customers to download information about the tea flavors and Hirameki.
