Mulcock resurfaces at JCD
Hong Kong - Douglas Mulcock, former managing director of marketing services Greater China at Dow Jones, has joined JCDecaux as deputy general manager to oversee the company's growing MTR advertising business.
Mulcock spent four years at Dow Jones managing the Hong Kong and Greater China markets, but left earlier this year leading up to the company's sale to News Corporation.
His role at JCDecaux will include overseeing advertising through MTR stations and Airport Express sites.
Mulcock said while he was new to the outdoor business, it was a good opportunity to join a fast growing industry.
"Business is growing here, outdoor is a very strong market in Hong Kong," he said.
"We have a very dedicated market and people use us [MTR] frequently. We're not reliant on circulation. JCDecaux is investing in all of its markets and making good money in China."
