Hong Kong - Getty Images has signed a deal with the Interpublic as its preferred digital media partner, giving the advertising and marketing group access to its vast library of stock photography, footage and music.
The licensing agreement, effective immediately, opens up the world's largest provider of stock and editorial photography to Interpublic, which locally owns agencies including GolinHarris, Initiative, McCann Erickson and Weber Shandwick and gives the company access to Getty's digital services.
MJ Richards, vice president of sales at Getty Images, said it was a significant agreement.
"This development affirms the great support we have from the marketing and advertising industries, and we are proud to have been selected by Interpublic Group as its agency of choice," Richards said.
