TNT Singapore said it delivered the nation's bid book for the 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games (YOG) to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Switzerland two days ahead of the submission date.

"TNT has been involved in major sporting events and is experienced in moving sensitive shipments," said Damien Tan, managing director of TNT Singapore. "Recently, TNT transported doping samples for the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup Korea and also, frozen blood serums of entry horses for the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006."

TNT was commissioned by the Ministry of Community Development Youth and Sports for the task. The package, sent via TNT's time critical special services, arrived in Lausanne two days ahead of the submission deadline, the company said.
