DDB Beijing appoints new CD
China, Beijing - DDB Guoan Beijing has appointed Huang Yandong as creative director responsible for Citizen and Merck accounts as well as some new business.
He will report to David Lin, ECD for Beijing office.
"Mr Huang brings excellent creative experience to DDB Guoan, particularly in the Real Estate sector which will be very useful since we have key clients in the industry such as Henderson Land," Donald Ma, managing director for DDB Guoan Beijing said.
Dick van Motman, president and CEO for DDB China Group said, "His extensive experience and track record will help us to strengthen our Beijing operations and better serve our growing client list".
Huang's agency experience include working at Draft FCB Beijing, Saatchi & Saatchi Beijing, Guangzhou, Publicis Guangzhou, D'arcy Guangzhou, Grey Guangzhou and United Advertising Guangzhou.
His clients include companies such as Kraft Foods, Hongkong Tourist Bureau, Xi'an Janssen Pharmaceutics, Mengniu Milk, P&G, AVON, Danone, Unicom, Chengjian Real Estate and Zhonghai Real Estate.
Apart from Huang's appointment in the creative department, the business team has also expanded to reflect the agency's rapid expansion in its Beijing business.
Taiwanese native, Daphne Lee joins DDB Beijing as business director while Kitty Zhang holds the associate account director role responsible for strengthening its new business development team.
