Weber Shandwick gets Olympus PR

Sydney - Weber Shandwick has been appointed to run the PR arm of Olympus Imaging Australia following a pitch for the digital camera business.

"We are moving into a new era with Olympus, and with that we want to bring fresh ideas and a reinvigorated level of experience. We are very excited about working with Weber Shandwick and we're confident that they understand our current business and where we want to be moving forward," Marc Radatt, GM for Olympus said in a statement.

Weber Shandwick's clients in Australia in the technology space include British Telecom, VeriSign and Honeywell.
