Hong Kong - Technology brands and computer related advertising topped US$1.17 billion throughout the Asia Pacific region, with Hewlett Packard leading the charge, according to the latest Nielsen Media Index survey.
The quarterly study for the full 2006 year, shows HP was the region's most advertised brand, spending more than US$125 million on main media activity.
Internet service providers were very aggressive in promoting their brands, shelling out US$503 million.Yahoo! was the region's top spending technology brand, spending more than US$30 million or HK$232 million on regional advertising.
