Actio joins Waggener Edstrom alliance
"Japan is a very important and complex market for companies to engage in. the alliance will enable our clients to leverage and navigate the Japanese market and its influential environment to their fullest advantage," WE's executive VP and MD APAC David Ko said.
Actio's president Suga Nariyoshi added, "The programme allows us to leverage on WE's PR technology, knowledge and experience of global markets to enhance our counselling and PR activities. Competition in the Japanese market is becoming increasingly intense, and this is the right time to offer our clients new tools, international skills and expanded perspectives in order to improve their public perception and brand awareness in the external markets."
Established in 2003 Actio is a boutique agency specialising in IT, healthcare, automobile and corporate communications. Clients include Microsoft, NetSuite, and Sawai Pharmaceutical.
Both agencies are already collaborating on shared client campaigns, and will be addressing a range of new client engagement opportunities.
