Fox goes goo goo gaa gaa over BabyTV

Global - News Corps’ Fox International Channels (FIC) has acquired a major stake in commercial-free BabyTV. Its founders and creators Liran Talit and Ron Isaak will continue to head the channel as MD and director of programming respectively.

David Haslingden, CEO of FIC said, "The channel has been successful as a new service for parents and babies and an innovative player in the children’s TV industry. It has established a new niche in the market and solidified its presence there rapidly.“

Having created more than 60 specialised series for three and unders on air. It currently runs on 75 platforms over 50 countries globally. Launched in Israel in 2003, it was developed by a team of content experts and child psychologists. Upon its acquisition it will be a core channel in FIC’s offering which includes FOX, FOX Life, FX and National Geographic.

In Asia the channel is available in Hong Kong and Indonesia.
