Two new hires for Kadence Malaysia
Malaysia - In the bid to strengthen its presence within the market, B2B research agency Kadence has announced the appointment of Ronald Foo as project director and Alvin Kong as field manager, for its recently launched office in Kuala Lumpur.
Foo will be responsible for client management, developing client relationships and overseeing research projects from design through to reporting. He joins from GFK where he was previously a client services manager and with more than eight years of market research experience in the region.
Kong will head field operations, managing data collection for its Malaysian projects including focus groups, in-depth interviews, expert interviewing, computer assisted telephone interviewins, central location tests and door-to-door survey methods. Formerly with Nielsen and Synovate, he has worked across a broad range of sectors including mobile telecoms, manufacturing, banking, healthcare, automotive, SMEs, FMCG, media and financial services.
Both will report into Piers Lee, MD of Kadence APAC. Lee said, "Kong's specialist skills will ensure that all field operation activities are coordinated and carried out to the highest standards, while Foo's overall management experience will impact every aspect of the business, facilitating our ongoing expansion in Malaysia."
The agency plans to open a China office later this year.
