Advertisers get interactive on the MTR

Hong Kong - MTR has introduced a multimedia shopping guide providing advertisers with a platform to reach new customer segments, signing up Chow Sang Sang, Ajisen Raman and Marks & Spencer to use the new outdoor platform.

The Shopping guide map available at Causeway Bay, Tsimshatsui and Mongkok MTR stations features information and exact locations on shopping, dining and entertainment.

Unlike conventional maps, the shopping guide at the MTR concourse features a touchscreen, bluetooth technology and is equipped with an audio system.

Teresa Fung, GM for JCDecaux Pearl & Dean said renowned brands such as Chow Sang Sang, Ajisen Raman, Marks & Spencer and Hang Lung Properties are among the first advertisers to use this new outdoor platform.

"Consumers' instant purchasing desire has always been an important element in retail business.
