Scotch-Brite Superheroes to the rescue
Malaysia - Scotch-Brite had enlisted Superheroes to spread the message of smart cleaning solutions to the public at Giant Hypermarkets in the Klang Valley recently.
The Superheroes, who represent Scotch-Brite's brand superiority in providing better cleaning solutions, will be seen going around Tesco, Jusco and other Giant hypermarkets for the rest of the month until end of May.
The campaign, part of a quarterly campaign, kicked off in March and aims to create awareness and in-store excitement with the customer, while rewarding loyal Scotch-Brite customers and new ones through the event.
The activities will be heavily promoted via in-store advertising and on-ground promotions at hypermarkets and high traffic areas. It will also be supporting the introduction of the superheroes via a press release.
Kek Lay Hua, general manager of consumer and office business of 3M Malaysia said, "Our basic premise is that cleaning does not have to be 'drudgery'. It can be fun, fast and effective with the correct tools - namely Scotch-Brite cleaning products that includes scourers, mops, sweepers, gloves, micro-fiber cleaning cloths and more. The Superheroes actualize this concept as they whizz around at high speed on in-line skates, cleaning quickly and effectively with Scotch-Brite cleaning products."
"In-store, this gets customers primed to try [our products] by creating excitement - children especially respond immediately to it as it shows how much fun it can be with innovative cleaning tools. Simultaneously, we reward customers who have made the right choice of selecting Scotch-Brite cleaning products and encourage sampling to prospective buyers," added Kek.
Weekend shoppers at Giant Hypermarkets in Batu Caves, Stadium Shah Alam, Kelana Jaya and Kota Damansara were surprised by two speeding Superheroes from Scotch-Brite giving out goodie bags to shoppers who had any Scotch-Brite products in their trolleys and who could answer a simple question about Scotch-Brite brand and its products.
The Superheroes will be making their way on an average of two to three weekends in a month to selected outlets in the Klang Valley.
The creative agency behind the campaign is Vodka X and the PR agency is About Communications.
