RCS on the move to Singapore

Singapore - Reuters is shifting its communication services business (RCS) to Singapore and relocating EVP and global head of RCS, David Gurle to Singapore as well.

"This move reflects a belief that the Asian markets are quickly becoming the growth engine for the next phase of development for RCS and will allow us to better leverage the talent pool and innovation potential of the region. It is also very much in line with Reuters overall business strategy for the region," Gurle said.

In his new location, Gurle will lead a team responsible for delivering Reuters collaboration and communication tools and services across Asia, Europe and the Americas. This will include products like Reuters Messaging.
