Forbes Media boosts leadership team
FORBES MEDIA APPOINTMENT DIGITAL
Global - Forbes Media has promoted Meredith Kopit Levien (pictured) to chief revenue officer and Mark Howard in the newly created role of senior vice-president of digital advertising strategy.
Kopit Levien has worked with Forbes for four years, most recently as SVP/group publisher. In her new role, she takes on responsibility for the entire US and European digital and print sales organisation.
Howard will head up the digital ad strategy with a focus on introducing new advertising products to the marketplace. Previously he was SVP of digital ad sales.
"Meredith is well-known and well-respected in the marketplace, and her sales and business management skills will propel us to new heights in 2012 and beyond," says Forbes Media president and chief executive Mike Perlis. "Mark's deep experience makes him supremely qualified for his new role."
