Singapore - StarHub will launch two new 24-hour sports channels - Neo Sports (for cricket) and Golf Channel (for golf) - in the coming weeks.
The former will be bundled with Cricket Channel to form the new Cricket Group at a revised cost and the latter will be free to Sports Group customers using the digital set-top box, HubStation or HD set-top box.
Neo Sports will launch on 26 September and Golf Channel on 16 October. Neo Sports will feature matches and cricket-related programmes from the Indian front which complements the Cricket Channel which offers international matches by the International Cricket Council (ICC), and Australia and England cricket teams. The Golf channel will air over 60 hours of ‘live' and delayed weekly coverage of global golf events including US PGA Tour, European PGA Tour and LPGA Tour.
The other Sports Group channels that Starhub carries are ESPN, Football Channel, Goal TV 1, Goal TV 2, STAR Sports, SuperSports and SuperSports Plus.
