National - MTV has launched its campaign to raise awareness of human trafficking in Asia, with Beijing its first point of call.
From 6 October, MTV China will broadcast Traffic, an initiative of MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking), on its 24-hr Channel first in English and in Mandarin on 7 October.
MTV, which produced the documentary in partnership with United States Agency for International Development, has vowed to make the and free of charge for all broadcasters and organisations.
The campaign will be promoted through a series of events, which included the premier at the Peninsula Hotel in Beijing and through online content, live events and partnerships with anti-trafficking organisations.
