Uluru Meeting Place to open in Aug

Australia - Ayers Rock Resort's conference centre is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment where its completion in August 2012 will see the Uluru Meeting Place doubling in size.

Located in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, the centre will boast a new exhibition space or ballroom, three breakout rooms, a small function area, secretariat rooms, and pre-function spaces on top of its current offerings of refurbished rooms.

The venue will also be equipped by advanced audio-visual equipment seamlessly integrated into room spaces.

The conference centre's flagship venue space, Tjungu Ballroom, is able to hold up to 420 guests in theatre style and service up to 30 booths measuring three by two metres in exhibition layout. The room in dividable into two rooms with grassed breakout areas on either side.
