Banyan Tree marketing hero to say farewell

Singapore - Banyan Tree MD of global marketing Edwin Yeow will leave the company at the end of October, returning to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to launch a boutique hotel - he has been with the company since 1992.

Yeow would not go into specifics on the boutique hotel's concept or brand for the moment but after 15 years at Banyan Tree, he said that one of his biggest achievements had been "starting the global brand marketing, distribution and network for Banyan Tree from its inception till now".

Marketing understands a replacement has been found but at press time, Banyan Tree would not immediately reveal his/her identity.
