Qatar Airways lands with Batey

Asia Pacific - Marketing understands Qatar Airways has appointed Batey as its global creative agency, a major boost for the agency after Singapore Airlines end its 35-year relationship the company earlier this year.

Batey is no stranger to working on Qatar brands, as it was awarded the global marketing communications campaign project for The Pearl Qatar, a luxury residential resort in Doha, in August 2006, reported Marketing.

In Singapore, Qatar Airways works with creative agencies AGI Communications and 3Aces on an ad-hoc basis and it is unclear if it will continue to do so after this appointment.

Colin Neubronner, marketing rep at Qatar Airways, as well as a Batey spokesperson deny comment.

Neubronner was previously with Singapore Airlines as senior manager for marketing communications & development and left the company for Qatar Airways in July this year
