Designercity ECD moves to Walt Disney

Hong Kong - Steven Lau, executive creative director and partner at Designercity has moved to the Walt Disney Company as director of product management for its parks & resorts business.

A spokesperson at Walt Disney Co Asia Pacific confirmed the appointment but declined to comment further.

Lau will direct strategy and management of the Disney brand, focusing on identifying emerging trends and develop marketing strategies and initiatives to drive awareness and sales in the region.

Lau worked at Designercity since 2006 on key clients such as the Hong Kong Tourism Board. CLP Group, Swire Group & Hotels, Conrad Hong Kong, HK Education Bureau, Hong Kong Jockey Club and TSL.

He has more than 16 years experience creative industry, having had stints at M&C Saatchi, Ion Global, Pacific Connections, D'Arcy and ASANA Limited.
