Singapore - BBDO Singapore has made another senior planning addition to its team, this time hiring Shahvez Afridi as regional planning director, tasked with driving consumer and strategic planning for the agency's clients.
Afridi was previously based in Bangkok as head of strategy and brand planning division for AC Nielsen, and is the second senior planner to join BBDO Singapore in as many months following the hire of Sulin Lau, director of strategic planning, from Naga DDB Malaysia.
Both Afridi and Lau report directly to Andy Wilson, who was recently promoted to the position of chairman of the Asia Planning Council and head of planning for the Singapore office, as reported by Marketing.
