The retainer account will see Brandthink take charge of managing TSL's integrated marketing strategy in Malaysia including PR strategy, media relations, media buying and events. The objective is to solidify TSL's brand presence in Malaysia, launching new collections to its customers and to grow its profile among the wider affluent market.
Swissotel revamps website
Swissotel Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its Swissotel Circle website designed by CPR Vision as part of its exclusive guest loyalty programme. According to Stephan Dupre, director, loyalty marketing the new Swissotel Circle programme is designed so guests can enjoy preferential treatment and special privileges at Swissotel Hotels & Resorts worldwide.
RenRen taps into online video sharing
Social networking platform RenRen has announced it will acquire user generated content online video sharing site 56.com for US$80 million. The site which was founded in 2005 attracts a mix of performing artists, amateur groups and video enthusiasts. Joseph Chen, chairman and CEO of RenRen, said the acquisition will create opportunities of synergies and cross marketing to drive user engagement and meet user need.
SAM looks for PR agency
The National Heritage Board has called an open tender for public relations services for the Singapore Arts Museum. The contract is for one year, with an option to renew for another; and the tender closes on 13 October.
