Marketing TV: Will social save or kill the news?

Hong Kong - How has social media changed the news business? How can media owners make news profitable in the digital age? Marketing TV talks to Thomas Crampton.
Crampton, Asia Pacific director of Ogilvy & Mather's 360° Digital Influence, said social media comes as a challenge for news publishers as it does for marketers because it changed the mode of communications from broadcasting to engaging.
"I think social media is a bigger threat than opportunity in some ways," he said.
