Hong Kong - HBO has tapped MediaCom to launch an online campaign to push the media company's on demand service available on now broadband TV in Hong Kong, which received over 38, 000 clicks since its launch.
The campaign kicked off mid this month on local websites, Yahoo, Sina, Atnext.com and On.cc that drives users to click on to HBO's mini site, which displays the latest movies and dramas on HBO including virtual remote control to experience the on demand service.
Targeting western-minded Chinese business executives, the online campaign allows an interactive approach to showcase the wide selection of Hollywood films that subscribers could choose from at their own schedules.
The online element is supported by print in Oriental Daily, Apple Daily, The Sun and Metro Daily as well as an outdoor campaign to kick off this Friday.
