Hong Kong - Bates Asia has hired managing director from Deep Interactive, Curtis Mak as business director for XM, the interactive arm of BatesAsia based in the Hong Kong office.
He will be responsible for strategising the direction of XM and strengthening digital offerings for the agency to create more effective, measurable and innovative integrated campaigns. Some of the key accounts Mak will be in charge include HSBC, Visa and Café de Coral.
"I aim to play my role as the digital sparkle here in Bates Asia Hong Kong turning everybody on (line)," Mak said.
Mak was previously with Deep Interactive where he rose up the ranks within the interactive agency from project manager, division manager, GM to MD. Major accounts handled include Lee Jeans China, Sun Hung Kai Properties and Chow Tai Fook.
He reports to Conrad Chiu, CEO for Bates Asia Hong Kong.
