Song Zu Singapore poaches DDB broadcast head

Singapore - Music and sound design company, Song Zu Singapore has hired head of broadcast for DDB, Julie Chua as operations and business development director - she begins 2 October.

In this new role she will be tasked with growing the company's advertising base in the region, continuing with its expansion into long-form projects as well as exploring new media opportunities. The news also means that Gerard Fitzgerald no longer holds an operational position, freeing him up to concentrate on music composition and musical / creative director role.

"We are very fortunate to have been able to persuade Julie to join Song Zu Singapore in this role. She has a lot of experience and an lot of ideas about how we can continue to produce high-end soundtracks while taking Song Zu Singapore to the next level," Ian Lew, MD for Song Zu said.
