Malaysia - Malaysia Airports has tasked Crush Malaysia to come up with a 90 second emotional TVC, reminding viewers of how far they and Malaysia Airports has come in 50 years.

The TVC will air for a period of six weeks starting mid August, with the first part of the TVC depicting the difficulties of getting from one place to another, pre-independence. Then the TVC will show the advantages of having your own international airports, showing how Malaysia has grown exponentially. A Crush statement read "the TVC seeks to remind viewers of how far we have come in 50 years, and how proud we should all be to be able to fly anywhere and everywhere from the best airport in the world".

"We wanted to have a commercial that had emotional appeal, yet had relevance and could resonate with not only the Malaysian viewer but represented a badge of honour for every Malaysia Airports employee," Norliza Kamaruddin, GM of corporate communications for Malaysia Airports said.
