HTC’s rotating Touch

Singapore - HTC has launched a marketing campaign featuring a giant HTC Touch rotating on Orchard Road, near The Heeren.

According to a statement the campaign demonstrates the TouchFLO technology to shoppers while being the first in the industry to manufacture such a large model of phone with a rotating mechanism and it is the company's aim to "push beyond the boundaries of existing marketing tools".

The campaign launched on 2 August and will run until the end of September. Rotation begins at 8am until midnight, and from 7pm onwards, the Touch display rotates with a neon light. Saatchi LAB was the creative agency while production was done by SPH MediaBoxOffice (SPH MBO), and media buying by ZenithOptimedia.

In other news, Batey Consulting account manager, Rachel Kooi has left to join HTC as marcom manager for SE Asia.
